As school nurses we connect every day with our students and the greater school community – teachers, parents, administrators, counselors, social workers, etc. – to provide valuable health resources, information, and to answer questions. The challenge is, who will do the same for us? Where can we go to increase our knowledge, bounce an idea off of someone, or share feedback?
NASN knows the potential for isolation that can be inherent in the school nurse work environment, and knows how important it is for school nurses to connect with one another across a variety of platforms.
The NASN All Member Forum is open all day, every day, and is an incredibly active online community that allows NASN members to grow in professional confidence sharing knowledge, information and receiving feedback from one another. Our education and networking programs offer tremendous opportunities to connect.
