NASN2020 and Coronavirus Update

We know you may have questions about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and what it means for you as an attendee of NASN2020. As the situation evolves, NASN will continue to provide updates and resources.

NASN2020 is still on track for June 30-July 3, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  NASN does know that you may have some questions and concerns. Below is The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ policy on room cancellations, their response regarding the coronavirus, and available resources.

In further assistance with your travel plans, please note that most major airlines are waiving change fees on all classes of tickets purchased between March 1st - March 31st. Each airline has slightly different policies and information is readily available on their websites. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity in making travel plans, including NASN2020 for the upcoming months.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Hotel Room Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation of reservation must occur at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date to avoid being charged a penalty of the first night’s room and tax.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Response to the Coronavirus:

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, following industry standards from both local and global health authorities, is closely monitoring the recent events surrounding the Novel Coronavirus. The safety and security of our guests is our top priority, and we are working diligently alongside the Southern Nevada Health District to monitor any related updates. At this time, we are reinforcing best practices related to our health and safety protocols to all resort employees (CoStars), partners and guests and have taken the following steps and precautionary measures:

  • Additional resources have been made available to both guests and CoStars during this time, including:
    • Hand sanitizer stations deployed in key areas throughout the resort, including all restaurant host stands, common areas and back-of-house areas for both guests and CoStars
  • Increased frequency of resort-wide cleaning/disinfecting protocols
  • Reinforced health standards and procedures to all CoStars and partners

The Cosmopolitan’s Risk Management team is closely monitoring updates in real-time from health agencies including Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization and the Southern Nevada Health District. Additionally, please find information enclosed on behalf of the Las Vegas Visitors and Conventions Authority highlighting the extended measures taken on behalf of Southern Nevada’s preemptive preparations, travel guidance, and precautionary measures.

We are monitoring the situation daily. More information and updates can be found on the Health District website at  We thank you for your cooperation.
