Laurie Combe, MN, RN, NCSN

Bio

Currently the Health Services Coordinator for Klein ISD in the Greater Houston, Texas area, I serve 48,000+ students in 45 schools. Klein ISD values an RN in each school and I work to facilitate continuous improvement of nursing care and to present data to our Executive Team that demonstrates the value that our professional school nursing team brings to Klein ISD. While currently serving as the Director for Texas, I also serve as a member of the Texas School Nurse Organization (TSNO) Professional Development Committee which is responsible for planning the TSNO annual conference and other professional development offerings. I have previously served as the TSNO School Health Issues Chair, the TSNO Conference Site Chair and the TSNO Region IV Vice President. After time spent in psychiatric and hospice nursing as well as nursing education I have settled into practice as a school nurse for 21 years.
