Why You Should Attend

NASN2015 is THE ONE event school nurses can attend that feels like coming home.  Everyone around you will understand your stories, your challenges, and your accomplishments as the primary health professional caring for a school community.  You'll be surrounded by peers who "speak your language."

The educational sessions apply to your school nurse role and provide validation about your contributions. The take away is confidence in knowing YOU make a difference, and new connections and information that builds on your experience.

Come to NASN2015 in Philadelphia; come home to the people who know you!

More Reasons to Attend

Thought leadership and best practices: An impressive pre-conference line up of programming including a mental health training and cultural competency session.  Face-to-face access to experts in breakouts, workshops, SNAP! sessions, and the poster presentations.  Browse the agenda for a detailed schedule.

Inspiration from author and renowned speaker Rich Bluni, RN: Kick off your time in Philadelphia with Rich Bluni, author of Inspired Nurse.  His action-oriented "spiritual stretches" will help you integrate the gifts of healthcare—joy, wonder, gratitude, insight and grief—into your daily lives.  Rich will also be available later in the day in the exhibit hall.

Networking, networking, networking: Connect with your peers during sessions, during meals, and at special events like the orientation for first-time attendees, one of the special interest group meetings, or the slightly more formal banquet.

Access to product vendors and their products: See, touch and discover the latest tools and resources to help you manage your health office and excel in your profession.  The exhibit hall will be open during the afternoon on the first day of conference and morning on the second day.

Fun, Fanfare and Frenzy: Compete with your comrades for your favorite purse or accessory in the Purses for Nurses Silent Auction.  Items on auction are donated by friends of NASN; proceeds benefit the NASN Endowment Fund.  Financial support of this Fund qualifies as a charitable contribution and may be deductible for federal income tax purposes to the maximum extent allowable by law.

Come to the city ranked THIRD on 52 Places to Go in 2015: See for yourself why the New York Times listed Philadelphia as a top destination and "a hive of outdoor urban activity."  Visit Welcome to Philadelphia for more about this exciting city.
