Our Mission: To promote quality school health programs, strengthen the professional
growth of school nurses, and advance the practice of school nursing.

Membership Information

Mississippi School Nurse Association (MSNA) is the one-stop spot for school nurses in Mississippi for professional growth and development, scholarship opportunities, resources, and support. School nurses are experienced in facing challenging obstacles and turning them into opportunities to improve the health of students. We are resilient. Our superpower skills of empathy, compassion, communication, advocacy, adaptability, quick thinking, analytical problem-solving, creativity, and positive thinking are what make the school nurse a leader in bridging the gap between education and health. MSNA has helped me become a more resilient school nurse, a stronger leader, and a more effective advocate for my students. If you are a Mississippi School Nurse and not a member of MSNA, please join us! MSNA needs you. You and your students need MSNA!
