Stephanie Coker, N.C.S.N., BSN, RN

I have been honored to provide health services as a Registered Nurse for the people of Mississippi for 26 years. My nursing experience includes providing care to my neighbors and their families in different settings. From the period just before the beginning of life in the perinatal period, throughout the life span in acute care settings, public health, home care, mental health crisis care, school nursing and finally to the end of life with aging adults in extended care settings, I found the most rewarding area of nursing--school nursing. For 18 years, I have been able to serve children and support their education in two different school districts.

My passion lies with children and education. Helping people grow, understand and attain physical, emotional, and spiritual health and wellness resulting in a quality education during this crucial time in a person's life is a major part of the puzzle in helping us improve life for us all in society. School nursing is the best place to affect positive change in a person's life.
