Advance Your Network in NASN’s Spaces and Places

Creating opportunities for school nurses to connect with other school nurses is important to NASN. From the NASN Annual Conference to the All Member Forum, NASN strives to create spaces and places for school nurses to come together.

At the NASN Annual Conference this past summer, NASN even offered a chat room for school nurses watching from their home or office the general sessions we live streamed. Being able to “sit” in the same room with colleagues whether it be in-person or online can help minimize the isolation school nurses often feel in their work environment.

If you are a school nurse who learns best in a classroom environment with a presenter in the room, be sure to keep an eye on all of NASN’s in-person conferences and educational opportunities. You can browse by program or link to the calendar for NASN programs and programs hosted by NASN Affiliates.

If you are looking for a place to ask questions of and have the opportunity to hear from experts in the school nursing field, we hope you will join us at next year’s Annual Conference. Registration opens in February and, as always, NASN members receive a special member rate.

If you just need to “bounce” a question or idea off other school nurses, use the All Member Forum; it’s open all day, every day. All of NASN’s 16,000+ members are automatically enrolled in the Forum. The online community for school nursing professionals is where NASN members can grow in professional confidence and ability through sharing knowledge, information, and feedback with each other.

No matter your need, NASN has #TodaysSchoolNurse covered with in-person and online networking opportunities.
