I work for Boulder Valley School District as a school nurse consultant and serve as the point person for concussions. Through my concussion work, I run the district Brain Injury Resource Team, sit on the district BrainSTEPS team, and otherwise consult on any concussion-related issue for which a school might need additional assistance. This work jives well with my past work experience, which largely consisted of working with brain injury patients.
I love living in Colorado and try to take advantage of living near the mountains - the perfect adult playground. I definitely believe nature is therapeutic and therefore love being outside. I also enjoy cooking, live music, being around people I love, and taking any opportunity I can to travel. I've been to several places in the states, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and am going to Ireland in the Spring!
