Are you a walker? A runner? Plan now to join fellow school nurse conference participants in the first NASN Endowment Fund 5K! The 5K Run/Walk will raise funds to:
- support research about the health of school- aged children and school nursing;
- fund grants that improve the delivery of healthcare by school nurses; and
- provide scholarships for school nurses seeking advanced degrees and/or certification in advanced nursing practice.
This inaugural event takes place on June 30, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at White River State Park. Be among the many participants as we walk or run 5K -- or approximately 3 miles -- along the scenic banks of the White River. NASN has partnered with Heartland Endurance Sports, who is providing a chip-timed, 5K competitive run or fun walk. All participants who register before June 1st will receive a medal and souvenir T-shirt. The public is also invited to participate!
Learn more or register now. Hope to see you there!
