I can’t believe it’s almost time for this year’s NASN Annual Conference! I’ve attended the meeting many times, and I can’t tell you how much I look forward to it every year. The role of the school nurse has been becoming increasingly complex and nuanced, as we are increasingly charged with helping students with not only physical ailments but also their emotional wellbeing. I see our annual meeting as a great opportunity to connect and relate with colleagues who have similar experiences and face similar challenges. The conference also provides the opportunity to network with experts from around the country! Personally, I’m the most excited about the presentations ...

When getting ready for my first NASN annual conference last year, I had no idea what to expect. It was a whirlwind experience, that afterwards, I knew I wanted to attend again! The conference may seem far away now, but you know how the second semester of school always flies by so fast. June will be here before you know it, so there is no time like the present to peruse the NASN conference schedule to figure out what sessions to attend. Does anyone else obsess over crafting the perfect schedule? Sometimes it is really hard to pick between sessions! The use of the NASN mobile app last year was very helpful as well, as I could make last minutes changes to my ...
