Amy E. Dark, BA, BSN, RN, Certified School Nurse-Teacher is a registered nurse specializing in school health for 15 years in Rhode Island. Amy has focused interest in K-12 health education within her daily practice as a school nurse-teacher, participating in the Rhode Island Health Education Framework Advisory Group and collaborating with school health colleagues to provide current, evidence-based health curriculum to students of all grade levels. Amy is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Nursing, Population and Public Health Program at Rhode Island College and uses her nursing and health education experience to care for all learners and support state and federal vaccination program initiatives, a key component in school health and wellness.
